Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED is a course that teaches students critical skills needed to respond to and manage a first aid, choking, or sudden cardiac arrest emergency in the first few minutes until EMS arrives. Students learn skills such as how to treat bleeding, sprains, broken bones, shock and other first aid emergencies. This course also teaches adult, child and infant CPR as well as AED use.

Bloodborne Pathogens
The BLS Provider Course is taught for the person that has formal medical training. The course teaches both single-rescuer and team basic life support skills for application in both in- and out-of-hospital settings. This course trains participants to promptly recognize several life-threatening emergencies, give high-quality chest compressions, deliver appropriate ventilation, and provide early use of an AED. It includes adult, child and infant rescue techniques.
Time Involved: 4 Hours
Certification: 2-Year American Heart Association Certification card will be given upon completion of class.
The skills practice and skills testing session (Part 2 and Part 3) are for individuals who have successfully completed the American Heart Association online course (Part 1) which includes the written exam. A Part 1 certificate of completion must be presented prior to beginning Skills Check-Off session.

Skills Practice and Testing Session (Part 2 and 3).
